I think everyone would enjoy this book. The featured examples are drawn from a wide variety of experiences and lifestyles. While not everyone will have the chance to visit with the Achuar Tribe in the Amazon rainforest, most of us have had contact with cancer, injury, divorce, and depression.

Initially, I was a little confused when reading the book. I expected it to be a linear progression. Do x and x will happen. However, that’s not how it works. Each person is unique, thus each experience will take on a different form. The life stories demonstrate this exceedingly well. Once I surrendered to the manner in which the book was written, I enjoyed it immensely.

Jody B. Miller offers wonderful life advice while telling you about some amazing people. Hear their stories as they share their lives--the good times and the bad, the ups and the downs--and learn more about what it is to be human and persevere. A great book to pick up whenever you're feeling low, Jody B. Miller's book will have you motivated to go out and grab hold of what you want most in life. I'd recommend this book to anyone, because no matter where you are in life, perspective is always helpful.

Short, concise and to the point.

Packed full of great information and valuable resources. This book is awesome. I haven't read the first one, but it is on my list. My favorite part of this book are the tips and takeaways. Ms. Miller's research and compilation of resources assists in the search for your dream job. Although you can tell her research was in depth she does not do all of the work for you. She gives you the basics so that you can not only be informed but also learn from the experience of the search. You learn about yourself and what you want.

The quotes that she has included from successful people of various industries add diversity as well as inspiration to the quest of landing your dream job. I love the fact that she says "Dream Job" as opposed to "Perfect Job" as we all know nothing is perfect.

The "Top" lists are a great tool to began your research. Many people just apply, apply, apply and never research whether the company or the position is what they truly want. This leads to being a waste of time for all involved.
